Looking after your copper
Keep the shine
A soft dry cloth after wearing is enough. For a deeper clean, half a lemon and a pinch of salt brings it straight back.
The green marks
Harmless, and they wash off with soap and water. It is your skin reacting with real copper, the same reaction that made ancient roofs green.
The magnet test
Hold a magnet against your piece. Real copper does not stick. If it does, it is plated steel and it did not come from my workshop.
